Jennifer Kassing-Bradley
Jennifer Kassing-Bradley, a native of South Carolina who has spent time in both
rural and urban areas of the state, uses watercolor and oil as media to depict
Lowcountry flora and landscapes. Drawing on her deep "sense of personal connection" to
her subject matter, Jennifer characterizes her work as an exploration of "the
relationship and interaction between man, industry, and nature." Her work, she
says, aims to capture not only "untouched nature" and "vast empty spaces" but
"the industry that dominates the horizon line."
A graduate of Georgia's Savannah College of Art and Design, which awarded her
a Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2003, Jennifer has participated in numerous
juried and group shows and her work can be found in many private collections in
the United States, as well as in public collections, including that of Turner
House at SCAD.
Pictured at right, "Waikiki Gold" is among roughly 50 images in Jennifer's exotic
orchid series and is the first of four images of the artist's work to be licensed
to Transformational Threads. Please see Additional Work, below.
