Nuch Owen

Originally from Thailand, Nuch Owen graduated from Poh-Chang College of Arts and Crafts in Bangkok with a specialty in fabric design. She worked for five years in Bangkok as a textile designer for Star Fashions, an upscale line of men's clothing sold throughout Southeast Asia. Now living in Naples, Florida, Nuch has her own silk painting studio, Pink Diamond Design.

Nuch's work carries a consistent tropical theme, floral still lifes and lush landscapes with vibrant colors and intricate patterning typical of Thai art and design. Her silks have won awards at both the Art League of Bonita Springs and the Ft. Myers Alliance of the Arts, and her work is carried by Jungle Drums Gallery on Captiva Island.
